Arthur Avenue Apartments in the Bronx Opens

Friends, partners and elected gathered on the terrace of the new Arthur Avenue Apartments in the Bronx to celebrate the opening of the new affordable/supportive building, now home to 176 low-income seniors including 54 who had been homeless.

On August 12th, Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) and Rochester’s Cornerstone Group joined project partners, elected officials and members of the community to celebrate the opening of Westminster Commons, a new affordable and supportive housing residence in Buffalo, New York.
The Network Mourns the Passing of Richard Froehlich

The Network is deeply saddened by the passing of Rich Froehlich, First Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the New York City Housing Development Corporation. Rich cared deeply about the citizens of New York City and providing them a place to call home. He financed many supportive housing deals and was instrumental in envisioning and funding the Down Payment Assistance Fund which provides pre-development loans to our community.

On September 14, 2021, Sisters of Charity Housing Development Corporation and Rockabill Development joined project partners and elected officials for the opening of Vincent’s Village, a new affordable and supportive housing residence in Nanuet in Rockland County.

On August 12, 2021 the Community Builders and Schenectady Community Action Program (SCAP) celebrated the opening of Hillside Crossing, a new seven-building, 85 apartment affordable/supportive housing complex with twenty-six supportive apartments.
