Maclain Berhaupt Joins NYS Department of Health

After just over 12 years of leading the Network’s state advocacy efforts, it is with both sadness and pride that we announce Maclain Berhaupt’s departure from the Network to become Deputy Chief of Staff at the NYS Department of Health. Steve Piasecki will be leading these efforts in the interim.

YWCA of the Niagara Frontier Opens 49 Tremont Street

On July 14th YWCA of the Niagara Frontier joined project and government partners to celebrate the opening of their new supportive housing residence, 49 Tremont Street. Located in North Tonawanda, the residence is creating 12 new permanent supportive housing apartments for single survivors of domestic violence. Services are provided on-site by YWCA of the Niagara Frontier, funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) through New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA).
