Governor Hochul Releases SFY 2024 Budget

The Governor released the SFY 2024 $221.6 billion Executive Budget yesterday. It continues the state's full commitment to the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative, a 15-year plan to develop 20,000 units of supportive housing. The budget also advances funding for year two of the five-year affordable housing plan to create and preserve 100,000 affordable homes.

RESH Celebrates its First RELISH Cohort Graduation

The Network Joins CCIT-NYC for “Community Care, Not Coercion” Rally

On December 20th, the Network joined Correct Crisis Intervention Today (CCIT-NYC) outside Governor Hochul's Manhattan office for a “Community Care, Not Coercion” rally, urging the Governor to invest in comprehensive community care services and reject Mayor Adams’ directive to increase the traumatizing use of coercion and police.

Housing Visions and Behavioral Health Services North, Inc. Open Northwoods

On December 13th, Housing Visions and Behavioral Health Services North, Inc. (BHSN) joined project partners and elected officials to celebrate the opening of a new affordable and supportive housing residence, Northwoods. Located in the Town of Plattsburgh, Northwoods has created 80 units of affordable housing, including 40 supportive housing units. BHSN will provide onsite services funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) through New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS OMH).
