Job Responsibilities

What The Vice President Does: Oversee, coordinate and manage planning processes for pre-development of new and rehabilitated multi-family affordable and housing projects, such as acquisition/site control, financing and design development. Research potential development sites and assess project viability. In conjunction with CAO/SVPs, lead the development and implementation of community engagement strategies to secure required approvals for various projects. Manage and coordinate with project teams including lenders, funders, attorneys, architects, consultants, engineers, contractors and property managers. Prepare applications to public and private funding sources for prospective deals including grant writing for capacity building. Establish and maintain productive relationships with all members of project development teams. Manage the transition from the construction phase to operations, including completing lease-up, stabilization and conversion in conjunction with CHV’s operations team and third party property manager. Work with the Creative Director on the development of marketing and informational materials for specific housing development projects. Ensure that public information regarding specific projects is consistent, accurate and maintained during all phases and ensure that project information is appropriate for public distribution. Make recommendations to the appropriate Senior Vice-President/Chief Administrative Officer regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Analyze program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements. Represent CHV at funder/outside agency/community meetings as requested. Confer with the appropriate Senior Vice-President/Chief Administrative Officer and/or other CHV/CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues. Support Executive staff with agency tasks, as directed. Motivate colleagues and consultants to take an "ownership" and leadership role in program/project development and implementation. Encourage and coach colleagues to take initiative to improve communication, performance and efficiency. Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff has what they need (support, training, skills, resources, supplies, technology, space, etc.) to accomplish their monthly goals and performance targets. Work with colleagues to ensure compliance with CHV’s, CAMBA's and funders' policies and rules and that any disciplinary action taken is in compliance with disciplinary policy and procedures. Immediately report to the appropriate Senior Vice-President/Chief Administrative Officer any: monitoring visits or funders’ events; significant events; any incident that might subject CAMBA/CHV to liability. Prepare and administer performance appraisals for direct reporting staff and/or their subordinates. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports and statistical information for CHV, CAMBA Executive Staff and funder use. Tasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over time. Maintain confidentiality for all aspects of project and CHV activities. Comply with any and all Federal, State, City and CHV/CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information

Job Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and at least ten years applicable experience and completion of three housing developments, in multifamily real estate development experience, specifically with affordable housing experience. Experience with New York City and New York State affordable housing programs strongly preferred; experience with local/state/federal programs in other metropolitan areas, if not New York State experience, is required. Other Requirements: Experience as lead project manager completing a minimum of three finance closings and subsequent project completion and permanent conversion. Team oriented with strong leadership qualities. Knowledge of most aspects of general real estate development, including multifamily housing finance, design, construction and operations including preservation, Year 15/retrofit/work-out developments. Familiarity with local, state, federal and private housing development & finance programs is essential. Working knowledge of local housing markets and conditions.

Job Responsibilities

The Director of Program Compliance leads the compliance team in ensuring that BRC programs are providing high quality and safe client services that meet funder regulations. Primary duties for this hands-on position include assessing organization compliance with agency best practices and regulatory requirements, supporting program management in creating policies and practices that improve adherence with requirements, and preparing for and responding to program inspections or audits. The position works with the full breadth of BRC’s housing and treatment programs, which operate under a variety of city, state and federal regulations. The Director of Program Compliance reports to BRC’s Vice President for Program Development & Evaluation. Specific job responsibilities include: • Analyze and interpret contract and regulatory requirements, and develop tools to assess and improve organizational compliance with requirements. • Perform qualitative and quantitative site-based reviews to determine level of compliance with regulatory requirements, including reviews relating to service utilization and clinical service provision. • Lead the program compliance team in preparing for and responding to program inspections and audits to assess compliance with City, State and Federal regulations regarding service provision, including Medicaid related requirements. • Provide support and assistance to internal performance improvement teams. • Provide training and assistance to staff designed to improve adherence with requirements. • Advise program management regarding areas of performance risk and recommend action to reduce organizational risk. • Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations and other related activities. • Embrace and embody the mission, core values and goals of BRC, including supporting agency efforts to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders. • Demonstrated judgment and discretion with regard to confidential information. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and pacing. • Superior computer literacy skills (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Outlook) and the ability to learn new computer applications with ease. Knowledge of EHR systems; AWARDS database is a plus. • Ability to proactively work independently and apply critical thinking. Qualifications: • BA required in Human Services, Social Work, or related field; Masters preferred. • Experience in the area of compliance or quality assurance is required. • Experience with publicly funded health and human services organizations and knowledge of contract compliance essential. *Vaccination required*

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitors changes in LIHTC regulations and requirements and implements changes as indicated; Maintains tenant files of all applicable NYC and LI properties in compliance with LIHTC/HUD regulations; Assist in the process of annual certifications and unit transfers as well as applicant files during lotteries; Meets with tenants who may be having challenges with completing the recertification process throughout the agency; Reviews files, prepares them for audits, and meets with tenants, if needed, to obtain any needed documentation; Assist with LIHTC/HUD reviews by outside entities; Performs internal audits of tenant files; Assist with initial lease-up of new properties; Provides assistance to the Affordable Housing Compliance team in covering properties throughout the agency, as needed; Possesses knowledge of the Federal Fair Housing Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Job Requirements

Requirements: Individual in this position should possess strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach. Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position. Preferably certified in Low Income Housing Tax Credit and/or 3+ years’ experience in compliance-related work. Good verbal and written communication skills are also required. Experience and/or education in working with people with disabilities is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate tenant linkage with chosen support services available in the community (e.g., care coordination, outpatient behavioral and physical health services, dual recovery supports, vocational services and opportunities, , entitlements and financial assistance and peer supports). Employ a person-centered, strength-based approach to solicit interests, aspirations, and preferences toward the development of quarterly goal plans, functional assessments, goal plan reviews. Meeting with clients to develop skills and review progress. Responsible for all documentation required for client record (e.g., progress notes, discharge plans, etc.). Provide individual counseling and support services to help promote skill development and tenant growth, including wellness self management, medication self sufficiency, housing readiness and financial competency. Employ a harm reduction approach to improve successful health care outcomes and monitor progress toward triple aim. Provide supports to ensure availability of full range of housing services, including maintenance issues. Attendance at weekly supervision and staff meetings. Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings. Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work or other related mental health discipline, plus 2 years exp. working in a similar setting and/or working with people with psychiatric disabilities. The individual in this position must have good verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to make sound judgments regarding client care.
