On June 2nd over 1,300 members of the supportive housing community joined the Network for its 20th Annual New York State Supportive Housing Conference. After a two year hiatus, the conference again featured 23 panels with experts sharing updates and best practices in policy, social services and development.
Network Board Chair Brenda Rosen kicked-off the morning session by highlighting the strength of the supportive housing community and honored former Network Executive Director Laura Mascuch. Network Interim Executive Director Maclain Berhaupt introduced the day ahead and New York State Governor Kathy Hochul provided a video-message to the community. Then, trauma informed Journalist, Lori Yearwood, gave the moving keynote speech.
