Network Publications
For over thirty years, the Network has served as the hub for New York's nonprofit supportive housing providers. This unique vantage point has allowed the Network to conduct and publish original research to reflect the totality of New York supportive housing as well as report on the community's successes and challenges.
Research
Since its inception in the 1980s, supportive housing has become the subject of serious, rigorous research. Studies have emerged from an array of sources, including peer-reviewed journals, state and local governments, public policy think tanks and nonprofit organizations. Most articles focus on the overall effectiveness of the housing model -- in terms of dollars and lives saved. In addition to featuring the largest and most rigorous studies on supportive housing, the additional research articles are divided into nine possible categories: Cost Savings, Neighborhood Impact, Public Interest, Health, Affordability, Mental Illness, Families, Youth and Reentry.
