At its April 20th meeting, the Homeless Housing Assistance Corporation approved almost $19 million in Homeless Housing Assistance Program capital funding for five new supportive housing projects totaling 166 units. These awards include Project Renewal’s Bedford Green House Phase II in the Bronx, Breaking Ground’s Sutphin Senior Housing in Queens, DePaul’s Crane Street in Schenectady, Catholic Charities of Onondaga County’s Catholic Charities Housing Services Center Apartments in Syracuse and Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services’ Wheat Street Apartments in Cayuga. Congratulations to the awardees.
With $25 million remaining in HHAP capital from FY 2022, and a new infusion of $128 million in FY 2023, this open window program remains open and available. OTDA has issued a slight update to the RFP, which is available here.
