Safety & Well-Being Training Series & Community of Practice
Deadline to Apply: Friday, November 21st
The Supportive Housing Network of New York’s Safety & Wellbeing Training Series & Community of Practice is a unique program designed to strengthen the capacity of supportive housing staff and organizations to promote and address safety, well-being, and staff morale.
This initiative combines expert-led trainings with a collaborative Community of Practice (CoP), welcoming staff from across all roles and experience levels.
Why This Program?
Developed by and for the supportive housing community, and thanks to the support of the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, this program grew out of statewide provider and tenant roundtables. These conversations highlighted growing challenges—rising tenant acuity, service gaps, and staff burnout—and informed a curriculum designed to meet real-world needs.
