NYC HPD Housing Retention and Stabilization Services RFQ
On January 14th, NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) released its Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for housing retention and stabilization services providers due February 15th. Through this RFP, HPD seeks to establish a list of Qualified Housing Retention and Stabilization Services providers that HPD designates as qualified to assist formerly homeless households moving into HPD-assisted New Construction projects.
Applicants must be nonprofit organizations and demonstrate they have the experience and capacity to become a Qualified Applicant.
The objective of this RFQ is to create a resource so that HPD may refer owners, property managers, landlords, and other appropriate parties operating a New Construction project with homeless set-asides to the Qualified List when seeking services for tenants residing in their property. Providers on the Qualified List will assist these formerly homeless households to make a successful transition to permanent housing, maintain tenancy in the affordable housing unit, and achieve further stabilization via connection to additional services.
Wednesday, January 23: Pre-Submission Conference from 10:30am to 12:00pm at HPD, 100 Gold Street, Room 8F-14. RSVP here.
