On July 8th, YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County joined project partners and elected officials to celebrate the opening of a new affordable and supportive residence, Hooper Road Apartments.
Located in the hamlet of Endwell in the town of Union, Broome County, this new residence is creating 80 affordable apartments, including 42 supportive for older adults experiencing homelessness. On-site support services are provided by YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County and are funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) and administered by the NYS Department of Health.
