In August, the Network was recognized for the second consecutive year as one of City & State’s 2026 Top Trade Associations.
On August 13th, we joined fellow honorees for a celebratory event marking the important contributions trade associations and membership organizations make in New York.
Network Executive Director Pascale Leone delivered the evening toast, reflecting on the vital role these organizations play in bringing people together,
“Looking around this room, it is remarkable to think about the industries, professions, communities, and New Yorkers represented by the organizations gathered here tonight. We may advocate for very different things—but we share something fundamental: We believe there is power in bringing people together.
Trade associations and membership organizations don’t just shape policy. They help shape people. They develop leaders. They create networks and mentorship. They give people opportunities to find their voice, understand how change happens, and eventually lead that change themselves.”
