On March 26th, the Network hosted a virtual Social Care Network Vendor Expo, designed to connect providers with Social Care Network representatives serving regions outside of New York City.
Social Care Networks were established through New York’s Medicaid 1115 Waver as a way to better connect Medicaid eligible members to health-related social services, including supports related to housing, nutrition, transportation, and other community-based services. During the Expo, vendors provided available resources and referral pathways to providers to ensure supportive housing tenants could benefit from these emerging systems of care. The Expo featured three vendor agencies, each hosting a breakout room where providers could learn more about available services and explore potential partnerships.
