On Wednesday, April 27th, the Network was joined New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) to host a NetWorkshop, providing an introduction to Local Law 15 (LL15), also known as the Supportive Housing Tenant’s Bill of Rights (BoR). The webinar provided clarification on the Bill of Rights, information on interviewing protocols as well as what DOHMH expects from providers.

LL 15 will go into effect May 9th and providers operating city-contracted supportive housing units will be required to provide the BoR to every prospective tenant at apartment, viewing, lease renewal, and on-demand. A $250 penalty will be levied for each violation.

See a recording of the workshop below and here for DOHMH’s slides.
