On April 23rd, Executive Director Pascale Leone was honored with Community Housing Innovations’ Champion of Champions Award at the No Place Like Home Gala.
In accepting the award, Pascale spoke with the urgency and conviction that define her leadership:
“Tonight is about home—not just four walls and a roof, but stability, dignity, safety, and belonging. That vision is being tested. The need for housing has never been greater, the challenges more complex, and the stakes for those we serve higher than ever.
But if there’s one thing I know, it’s this: this community knows how to meet the moment. We’ve done it before, and we will do it again. I accept this award not as a reflection of what’s been done, but as a call for the courage and conviction to keep going—to keep pushing for the resources our communities deserve, to keep fighting for systems that meet people with dignity, and to keep building a future where everyone—everyone—has a place to call home.”
