On June 3rd, Neighbors of Watertown and THRIVE Wellness & Recovery joined project partners and elected officials to celebrate the opening of Apartments at Mill & Main. This new residence is bringing 63 affordable apartments, including 31 supportive for individuals with mental health and substance use concerns to Watertown, New York. On-site services are provided by THRIVE Wellness & Recovery funded by the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) administered by NYS Office of Mental Health.
At the opening Executive Director of Neighbors of Watertown Reginald Schweitzer said, “This is a great day for us to see it finally operating and tenants moving in. You know that’s really what we’re changing is the lives of some of the tenants that get to live here.”
