City of Fort Worth, 2008
This report quantifies the impacts of supportive housing on neighborhood property values in Tarrant County, Texas. The report was produced by Directions Home, a ten-year homelessness initiative enacted by the City Council of Fort Worth. Researchers analyzed property values from 2000, 2004 and 2008 near three supportive housing residences in Tarrant County. The finding reveal property value increases near all three buildings, with the most significant increases occurring with 500 of the residence.
