Supportive and Service-Enriched Housing for Families

Presented by the Task Force on Housing and Services for Families

This 2003 report makes the case for supportive housing as the solution to family homelessness. The report was presented by the Task Force on Housing and Services for Families, a collaboration between the Network and the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH). The Task Force makes two overarching recommendations for New York City government agencies: 1) Create 2,000 units of service-enriched and supportive housing over the next three years and 2) Implement policy changes to make existing rental subsidy programs more effective and efficient. The report provides data and guidance on how New York City can reach these two goals.
