Refining the Process
This 2007 report offers suggestions to improve the application and approval process for Section 8 vouchers. Working with a consultant, the Network conducted interviews and collected data on revenue losses connected to Section 8. The report 1) investigates the extent to which providers have had difficulties utilizing Section 8 subsidies, 2) identifies the primary obstacles to Section 8 utilization and 3) gathers recommendations from those on the front lines to improve the process.
